Save Deletion Bug

A fatal, game breaking bug has been detected in the latest version of the game. This bug is related to the new item, the Iron Lamp. DO NOT use this item. If you placed down an Iron Lamp, pick it back up and DO NOT turn it On. If you have already turned on an Iron Lamp then turn it OFF and pick up the Lamp.

If you attempt to Save Game when you have any lamps turned ON in another map, then your game will give a warning sound and will not save, instead it will DELETE the game in that save slot! This will happen every time while any of the Lamps are turned on and you are attempting to save the game on a different map.

To avoid losing your saves, Turn OFF all the lamps and pick them back up before attempting to save the game again.

This bug will be fixed in the next release, but for now, do not use the lamps and if you have any placed, pick them up ASAP.

Thanks for addressing this so quickly! I appreciate the response a lot--as well as the quality of life improvement update.  Some small things I've noticed in the latest version:

--Iron Short Swords don't seem compatible with the Arms' multi-slash attack.

--Sandals are not correctly tagged as a Gift item.

If I find any other things, I'll let you know! Someday, I hope to cook my own stocks and gravies, but it seems like the only way to access those is to take the cooking specialization at the start...

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, the Short Sword is indeed bugged, I must have missed changing it's "weapon type" when I did an overhaul. It will also be fixed in the next release!

Sandals are actually Armour, and so far the only armour that can be gifted are dresses. I left the [Gift] tag on them to indicate that they need to be gifted to Saffron as part of a quest, I may remove this tag though as it is a bit confusing. They don't show up under the actual Gifts in Items though as they can't actually be gifted in conventional sense.

I'll probably add the starter recipes in the next update or in the update after the next!

Ah, I'm not talking about the Cute Sandals--I mean the other ones. I guess the red ones would count too, though, huh?  Also, the Spider Farm item isn't sellable, it looks like.

Thanks for the heads up, the Spider Farm will be saleable in the next update!

And yeah the normal sandals suffer from the same issue as the Cute Sandals.
